Social media sensation, Blessing Newton Abahi, originator of the ‘bunch of women’ trend on the Nigerian Social Media space, has thanked the Courts in Nigeria for reuniting her with her husband.
In the video, Blessing, who stood side-by-side with her husband, in excitement, said if it had not been for the courts, they would both have gone their separate ways.
Blessing’s story went viral on social media over her troubled marriage after a video of her recounting her husband’s indiscretions in Court went viral.
In the viral clip, Blessing recounted how she came home unannounced and met her husband in a compromising position surrounded by a “bunch of women” in their bedroom and on their matrimonial bed, and had moved out to stay with her mother in Ajegunle, Lagos State, due to an attempt made by her husband to strike her with a machete.
In the latest development, Blessing is happy to be reunited with her husband as they have been able to put the past behind them.
Blessing’s story drew a lot of pity from well-meaning Nigerians when it first broke. She received donated in cash and kind, from Kind hearted people in the society to help her restart life, considering the pain she had been through.
