Anita Asouha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, has gotten herself 3 more awards from the second edition of ‘The Humour Award’, which held at Eko hotel and suites, Lagos Nigeria, on Sunday, 15th January, 2023, as ‘Comedy act of the year’, ‘Best stand up comedienne’ and ‘Most creative comedy show of the year’, in 2022.
She dedicated the awards to all the women in the stand up comedy industry saying;
‘’This goes to show that with hardwork and determination we’re unstoppable and a force to be reckoned with’’.
Warri Pikin emphasized that ‘’SLOWLY BUT SURELY OUR WORK GO SHOW’’.
Other winners that emerged include;
Mr. Macaroni, Nosa Rex, Kabusa choir, Posho Tilly, among others.
While appreciating everyone who voted for her, she said, she was up for four Nominations and won three, ‘Most creative comedy show 22’, ‘Comedy act of the year’ and ‘Stand up comedian of the year 2022’ with a plot of Land.
