Kizz Daniel, a Nigerian singer, has apologized and expressed regret for his failure, due to the cancellation of Sunday, 7th August, 2022, performance show in Tanzania.

The ‘Buga’ master had earlier refused to turn up for a show in Tanzania and he was later detained by the Tanzania police, due to his failure to appear at the show.

He was detained in Dar es Salaam, Nairobi, over the incident on Monday, 8th August, 2022.

Hours after his arrest, Nigerian in Diaspora commission, NiDCOM, aided the release of the songwriter and singer, Kizz Daniel. In a rage over the singer’s absence, fans had earlier trashed the venue. 

The singer offered an apology, gave his side of the story, and promised a free show on Friday 12th, August, during a press conference on Tuesday, 9th August, 2022, that was live-streamed on the show promoter’s Instagram page, #Str8upuibes has narrated his side of the story.

He said, “I didn’t mean to disrespect the fans. It was never intentional. I wanted to perform. I came to Tanzania to perform, but due to some circumstances way over my power, we couldn’t make that happen.

“I apologise once again to the people of Tanzania, and I hope you guys give me another chance to give you a show, to give you a proper show, a beautiful show.”, He announced, and “I will be working with straight-up vibes to make that happen this Friday, a free show, by the way, I should apologize to the supporters again nothing was done on purpose”.
