A woman claiming to be the aunt of the late singer Mohbad On Wednesday, 22nd November 2023, criticized actresses Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo for their demands to release the late singer’s body for proper burial.
In a viral video, the aunt argued that only Mohbad’s father has the authority to decide when the singer will be reburied.
She condemned the actresses for shopping for a casket for the late singer.
Furthermore, Mohbad’s aunt also alleged that they were clout-chasing with the burial arrangement.
She insisted that Mohbad’s father was not prepared to bury his child and questioned the motives behind the actresses’ involvement.
The aunt accused Tonto and Iyabo of using Mohbad’s death to gain favors from a political party
In addition, she argued that Mohbad should not be reburied until his father was ready.
This recent development follows Mohbad’s mother’s outcry about the father’s reluctance to permit the singer’s reburial.
Earlier, Mohbad’s father stated that the singer would not be buried until justice is served, including a DNA test to confirm the paternity of the singer’s only son.
This ongoing dispute continues to surround the late singer’s burial arrangements.
Lerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, died on September 12, 2023, under unexplained circumstances.
