Nancy Isime, Rahama Sadau, and Richard Ato Turkson have been revealed as the hosts for the 19th edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards, AMAA in 2023.
This announcement was made by Tony Anih, the Chief Operating Officer of AMAA, following a meeting with the Africa Film Academy board.
Regarding the three hosts, Anih stated;

Our charming hosts for AMAA 2023 are Rahama Sadau, Richard Ato Turkson, and Nancy Isime. Get ready for an enchanting and entertaining evening on October 29, 2023! The stage is set for a night of cinematic excellence.
Expressing her enthusiasm for hosting the AMAAs, Nancy Isime, known for her work as a show host, TV presenter, and actress, said;
I’m absolutely looking forward to hosting the AMAAs on October 29. Hoping to see everyone there, as it promises to be a memorable evening.”

Richard Turkson expressed his anticipation for hosting the continental film awards ceremony.
I am super excited and can’t wait to host the 2023 AMAAs.
Rahama Sadau – Actress
Renowned Haitian actor and producer Jimmy Jean-Louis is confirmed to attend the AMAAs, along with various film industry professionals from around the world.
The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Toke Benson-Awoyinka, will also be in attendance.
The 2023 event is themed ‘Renaissance Legacy in Motion,’ it aims to redefine the continental awards in preparation for plans and the 20th edition.
The 2023 AMAAs are scheduled to take place at the Balmoral Convention Centre within the Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja GRA, Lagos, on Sunday, 29 October 2023.
