Popular singer and Marlian Label’s Record label boss, Azeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, has demanded for a public apology and threatened to sue actress, Iyabo Ojo for allegedly spreading false accusations and defamatory content about him on the internet.
A letter from the singer’s lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, sent to the actress, highlighted the accusations made in a September 2023 Instagram post.
The post claimed Naira Marley engaged in spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer MohBad, and also alleged that he caused mental harm to the late singer.
The singer’s lawyers therefore demanded for a public apology from the actress .
He insisted the apology should be posted on Ojo’s official Instagram account and published in a national daily.
According the the lawyer Failure to comply would result in a lawsuit 500 million Naira law suite filed against her.
This development coming a few weeks after Naira Marley and Sam Larry were released on bail from police detention over Mohbad’s death.
