Tobi Amusan has qualified for the 100-meter hurdles finals, which has earned her a spot in the Budapest World Athletics Championship finals.

Tobi defeated Ackera Nugent’s early lead in the 100-meter women’s hurdles final with a time of 12:56 seconds in the semifinal.

After securing her place in the final of the 100m hurdles at the World Athletics Championships for the third consecutive time on Wednesday, Tobi Amusan gazed towards the sky and uttered;

Lord, I am grateful. I have nothing else but to thank you for the protection and strength you’ve granted me. The journey isn’t over yet, but I believe you’ll see me through”.

Tobi Amusan, the holder of the world record, won heat five of the opening round of the women’s 100-meter hurdles semi-final on Tuesday with a time of 12.48 seconds.

In the 100-meter women’s hurdles, the Nigerian, African, Commonwealth, and Diamond League champion is defending her crown.
