In a chat with GWR, Helen emphasized how her eight years of expertise as a professional wigmaker were instrumental in overcoming material sourcing challenges.

Throughout my career, I’ve consistently produced between 50 to 300 wigs per week, trained hundreds of students, and created thousands of wigs.

Finding a suitable location to measure the wig was a challenge, but after exploring various venues, Helen chose the Lagos – Abeokuta Expressway for an accurate measurement.

Helen acknowledged the support of her friends and family during moments of exhaustion.

At some point, I felt exhausted. However, their encouragement kept me focused. I didn’t want to let them down, and the result is the longest-handmade wig in the world.
