Nollywood actress, Chacha Eke Faani, has reacted to the viral video of a teenage boy who destroyed his parent’s home because his mother seized his phone. She shared her reaction to the video via her Instagram page, where she revealed she has once been in a similar position.
In her video she stated:
“This morning I watched a viral video of a twelve-year-old boy who literally wreaked his mum’s house because she seized his phone. I’m making this video hoping it gets to the mum,”
According to the actress, what transpired at the home of the young man, is a sign of mental illness.
“Ma’am contrary to the popular opinion in the comment section, with due respect to u and your family, your boy is sick, he is mentally ill. Because I recognize myself through your son. I have wreaked household properties, equipment, damaged all sorts, material and immaterial at different times,” she added.
The movie star’s mental health has come up on social media on several occasions, after which she revealed that she was bipolar.
This claim she made while denying that her marriage to Austin Faani was troubled.
She had said in a previous interview earlier in 2022: “Several psychiatrists have come to assess me mentally and I have been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. Bipolar is real. Here in Africa, we tend to not know about it due to ignoring or overlooking it. I cannot tell you all how I have been feeling in these tiny videos I have been making but I will however show you in motion pictures soon,”.
Chacha got married to movie director, Austin Faani Ikechukwu in 2013, and announced her separation from him in June 2022, stating that she had been enduring and living a lie in her marriage for years and apologized for deceiving the public. They have four children (three girls and a boy).
