Speaking with TheCable Lifestyle on Thursday, 15th June, 2023, Bature said his passion for lecturing motivated him to embark on the record breaking feat.

“Yes. The plan is on. Of course yeah, I’m a lecturer already. I have teaching experience. I have a decade of experience and three years in lecturing. And I’m very passionate about my job.

“I have taught several topics, I’m really working on my slides, different topics in computer science and ICT generally. And application of ICT in other fields, agriculture and in so many other areas like that.

“We are working with my team. We are meeting with some professors.

“It’s a physical class. But we will have our dynamic students. We won’t have static students.

“Students will be going and coming. We are doing it in the university. We are having a meeting with the VC today. So it will be streaming live.”, he acknowledged.

The development comes days after the GWR announced Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon with a time of 93hrs 11 minutes.
