The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, has resumed the collation of the presidential election results on Monday, 27th February, 2023.
The chairman of the commission, Mahmood Yakubu, declared the center opened as they await results from various designated local Government areas collation centers and across the states.
The chairman stated that the State Collation Officers for the Presidential Election SCOPE, as well as the Federal Capital Territory FCT, shall present their various results.
According to reports, the collation of results for the Presidential election in Nasarawa State has commenced according to the State collation officer, Professor Ishaya Tanko, who is also the Vice Chancellor, University of Jos. While reading the ground rules of the exercise, pledged to be fair and just in delivering according to the electoral law.
