Singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known by his stage name Ruger, disclosed that he regretted body-shaming his colleague, BNXN, formerly known as Buju, in the most recent episode of the Bahd And Boujee Podcast, which reality star Tolanibaj and actress Moet Abebe co-host.

In 2022, during their social media feud, Ruger publicly humiliated BNXN when made fun of Buju’s weight and requested that he perform five of his non-feature songs that had recently debuted at the top of the Nigerian music charts, like his most recent single, Asiwaju.

Buju quickly responded to Ruger’s remark, pointing out that Ruger was a local champion whose enormous streaming figures were fabricated.

Ruger, who appeared as a guest on the most recent episode of the show, expressed regret for his actions.

“I feel bad that I body-shamed BNXN , I regret it,” he said.

Following Ruger’s departure from D’Prince’s Jonzing World and the creation of his record label, Blown Boy Entertainment, the two have subsequently ended their fight.

Ruger and BNXN have since squashed their beef after the former exited his former record label, D’Prince’s Jonzing World, and launched his imprint, Blown Boy Entertainment.

The duo have gone on to release a collaborative song titled, ‘Romeo Must Die.’
