Nigeria’s Under-23 Super Eagles on Tuesday, 28th March, 2023, crashed out from qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, after losing to Guinea-Bissau 2-0  in the final qualifiers for this year’s U-23 African Cup of Nations, held in Morocco.

The match which held Tuesday night, had both teams fighting hard for an hour before Guinea-Bissau took the lead, after scoring a goal.

They added a second goal 15 minutes later to the consternation of the Nigerian squad.

Following the defeat, Nigeria has failed to qualify for a place to place at the Olympics scheduled to hold from July 24th to August 10th, 2023.
