Ayoleyi Solomon, well known as, Reekado Banks, has announced the death of his mother, Dorcas Solomon, on Tuesday, 27th September 2022, via his Instagram page.
Reekado Banks made the announcement with a photo post on his official Instagram page that reads; “It is with a Heavy heart that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, confidant & friend.
“Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon is survived by her husband, sisters, children and grandchildren.
“We implore the general public to keep us in their prayers at this difficult time. The Solomon Family”.
The Nigerian award-winning singer did not disclose what lead to his mum’s passing.
Reekado Banks born December 6, 1993, is the last child of a music-loving family. His father is a pastor from Ondo State, and his mother was a caterer. He completed his secondary school at the age of 14, and started recording his first set of songs in 2008.
Banks’ elder brother, Temi is a music producer and his elder sister, a gospel singer.
