Multi-award-winning music star Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has revealed his intention to take a break from the music industry.
He made the statement on Sunday, 5th November 2023, through several Instagram posts, the renowned artist, shared his plan to step away from music for four or five years, possibly pursuing interests in football or golf.
Writing in broken English, he wrote;
Back in 4 years, make una papa chop him money small or maybe five or I fit still go dey play ball now.

“On some G shit, I hope you mofuckas alright body mind and soul and taking time out to enjoy with your loved ones.”
In his announcement, he expressed his well-wishes for his fans and emphasized the importance of taking time off to spend with loved ones.
This is not the first time Wizkid has made such an announcement, as he previously indicated a break from music back in 2019.
