The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC says there is no cause for alarm as the issue surrounding the missing Labour Party LP, logo for House of Representatives in Ondo State is being addressed at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
Acting Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in charge of Ondo State and the Administrative Secretary, Mr Oyekola Oyelami disclosed this while addressing journalists at one of the voting centers, St Stephen Primary School, Akure, Ondo State.

Mr Oyelami said INEC National Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, had addressed the issue when it was raised by the LP last night hence there is no need for violence on the matter.

The Acting REC called for cooperation with INEC officials and orderly conduct during the exercise for a hitchfree elections.

At some of the wards and units visited by the INEC Monitoring Team, Alagbaka Primary School, Sacred Heart Cathedral Primary School voting were ongoing smoothly and the electorate conducted themselves in line with the rules and Electoral guidelines.
