In a recent episode of a podcast, ‘The ABtalks podcast’, the superstar explained that he is enjoying the benefit of fame ,however, he said fame also has had a number of negative effect on his family.

The singer also opened up about what life in the spotlight has been like for him and his family

“I would lie to you if I say I don’t like fame but it has it’s good and bad parts, I get anything I want but it gets stressful because it affects the private aspect of my life and my family.
Like my dad will just send me something on the blog, like ‘what’s this?’, and I am like ‘it’s a lie, don’t worry about that.’

Anything I do as Davido affects my family just like my sister had to move her kids out of some school because everyone knew this is Davido’s nephew and niece and it was weird because of how people treated them, so now they are in different school, and when they know they are related to me, it is always crazy.
“My daughter was even bullied in school just because she is my daughter. So fame has good and bad sides.

Since he broke out in 2012 with his hit single ‘, Dami Duro, Davido’s private life has been the subject of gossip blogs and other media outlets in Nigeria.
